General Internet Sales ZOO Footwear International B.V.

  • Article 1 . Definitions

    1.1. ZOO and ZOO Adventure is a licensed trademark under contract with ZOO Footwear International B.V. registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Haarlem under number 62916769, located at Schelphoek 78, 2134 WR, Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.

    1.2. A distance contract means an agreement whereby, in the context of a organized system of ZOO Footwear International B.V. for distance selling of products, up to the closing of an agreement based on making use of one or more means of distance communication.

    1.3. Agreement over the internet: a (purchase) agreement on distance, closed over the internet.

    1.4. Customer: the natural person not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into an agreement with ZOO Footwear International B.V. over the internet.

    1.5. Terms : all the provisions as set forth below.

    1.6. It concerns the shop: www.zooadventure.co.uk 

  • Article 2 . Relevance

    2.1. All agreements over the internet, as well as the related offers and deliveries of ZOO Footwear International B.V. apply on these Terms and Conditions, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

    2.2. Before the contract is concluded via the Internet, the text of these Terms are made available to the Customer. To organize an internet purchase an agreement should be made to the text of the Terms of ZOO Footwear International B.V. by the Customer first by ticking the box 'I agree to the Terms of Service'

  • Article 3.  Information

    3.1. Seller is ZOO Footwear International B.V., Nijverheidsweg 5, 2421 LR, Nieuwkoop, The Netherlands. Email: info@zooadventure.co.uk

    3.2. The main factors of the product, the price and the cost of delivery will be clearly indicated to the Customer. During the ordering process.

    3.3. All prices are inclusive V.A.T. Other taxes which are imposed by the government are excluded.

    3.4. ZOO Footwear International B.V. is entitled to engage in the execution of its contracts to third parties.

    3.5. The billing and shipping address of the customer should be an address in the UK. This address cannot be a PO Box.

  • Article 4.  Specials

    4.1. Offers and prices ZOO Footwear International B.V. are valid for the period indicated on the website.

    4.2. All prices on the website are subject to typographical errors. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer, which the customer may assume there is, will not bind ZOO Footwear International B.V.

  • Article 5.  Agreement / payment / delivery

    5.1. If the customer has accepted the offer electronically ZOO Footwear International B.V. immediately confirms by email the receipt of such acceptance.
    In the order confirmation following is listed:
    - The identity and address of ZOO Footwear International B.V.;
    - The main features of the purchased product;
    - The cost of delivery, if applicable;
    - The method of payment;
    - The shipping method;

    5.2. The Customer shall meet payments to ZOO Footwear International B.V. according to the method of payment mentioned in the order confirmation.

    5.3. Once full payment by ZOO Footwear International B.V. is received, ZOO Footwear International B.V. will send the product as soon as possible, but in any event within thirty days to the Client. When delivery is executed a written confirmation is send again with the specifications mentioned under article 5.1.

    5.4. Delivery is subject to availability. If delivery of an ordered product, after the conclusion of the agreement, proves impossible, and the purchase price is already paid by the Customer, ZOO Footwear International B.V. will make a refund to the customer as soon as possible but in any event within 14 days.

    5.5. Once the product to be delivered is delivered to the specified delivery address, the risk that the product concerned is transferred to the Customer.

  • Article 6.  Exchange

    6.1. The customer may return or exchange the purchased product within 14 days after receipt by returning the product to ZOO Footwear International B.V. If the price of the new product to be delivered is lower than the exchanged product the difference will be refunded as soon as possible, in any case within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods. If at a higher price, the customer will receive payment instructions for the difference, upon receipt of this payment, the product will be shipped as soon as possible.

    6.2. Return must be made to the following address: Nijverheidsweg 5, 2421 LR, Nieuwkoop, The Netherlands. Email: info@zooadventure.co.uk If required, the customer should be able to consult a proof of sending.

    6.3. With each shipment of ZOO Footwear International B.V. a Return & Exchange form is enclosed. When a customer makes a return or exchange the form must be filled completely. In the case of absence of a completed Return & Exchange from the exchange will not be processed by ZOO Footwear International B.V.

    6.4. When returning the product by the customer the returned product should be unused and packed in the original undamaged shoebox. ZOO Footwear International B.V. requires that the original shipping carton or equivalent packaging is used to return the product.

    6.5. ZOO Footwear International B.V. is never liable for any damage, theft or loss of the packaging or product, occured when returned by the customer.

  • Article 7.  Returns

    7.1. If the delivered product does not meet the expectations of the customer, the Customer can return the purchased product within 14 days to ZOO Footwear International B.V.


    7.2. Return must be made to the following address: Nijverheidsweg 5, 2421 LR, Nieuwkoop, The Netherlands. Email: info @zooadventure.co.uk. If required, the customer should be able to consult a proof of sending.

    7.3. With each shipment of ZOO Footwear International B.V. a Return & Exchange form is enclosed. When a customer makes a return or exchange the form must be filled completely. In the case of absence of a completed Return & Exchange from the exchange will not be processed by ZOO Footwear International B.V.

    7.5. ZOO Footwear International B.V. is not liable for any damage, theft or loss, including that occurs when returning to the packaging or product.

    7.6. If ZOO Footwear International B.V. finds the complaints well founded, the relevant product will be repaired, replaced or refunded after consultation with the customer.

    7.7. Acquisitions that have taken place in a shop (a ZOO Adventure dealer) may not be returned to ZOO Footwear International B.V., but only to the shop where the product was purchased.

  • Article 8.  Warranty

    8.1. ZOO Footwear International B.V. uses as a warranty for a product, the warranty period specified by the manufacturer of the product which is six months.

    8.2. On zippers there is no standard guarantee.

    8.3. Complaints cannot be considered without proof of purchase. A receipt can also be a printout of the confirmation email as mentioned in article 5.1. or the written confirmation referred to in Article 5.2.

  • Article 9.  Force Majeure

    In case of force majeure ZOO Footwear International B.V. is not obliged to pay compensation for the resulting damage to the Customer.

  • Article 10.  Final Provisions

    The agreement is governed by Dutch law. Disputes arising out of, or in connection with the contract shall be submitted to the relevant court in The Netherlands.
